When congress created the Rural Electrification Administration in 1936,
we were there.

Shelley Electric – already 18 years on the job bringing electricity to the homes and businesses of Sedgwick and surrounding counties.

When Ray Shelley started his business in 1918, Wichita was a railroad town, a beacon on the prairie, hinting at the growth and prosperity to come. Ray recognized opportunity, and the company he founded has spent the past ten decades electrifying entire residential neighborhoods, industrial giants, and a city’s infrastructure.

Ray would be proud, we think.
